Mellott - Friends and relatives here have learned of the death of Charles C. Strong, 77, of Logansport, who died in Memorial Hospital there Monday (April 26, 1965). Mr. Strong was born on a farm 1 1/2 miles south of here, son of George and Myrtle Good Strong. He was married to former Edith McAlister, who survives. Mrs. Strong is also a native of the Mellott area. Mr. and Mrs. Strong resided in Logansport many years but for the past few years had made their home in Florida. Survivors in addition to the widow include a son, Francis M. and daughter, Mrs. Mary Knight, both of Logansport; and a sister, Mrs. Alma Boyd of Lafayette. Funeral services and burial will be in Logansport, Thursday.
